Hong Kong Polytechnic University  (HKPolyU)

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has a proud and illustrious history dating back to 1937. Formerly known as the Hong Kong Polytechnic, it assumed full university status in 1994.  Today, PolyU is internationally known for excellence in career-orientated teaching, innovative research and unique programmes. 

The student community is the largest amongst the local tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.  With more than 1,000 international students and many of the 1,200 academic staff being recruited from overseas, PolyU provides a stimulating educational environment for students, and a unique combination of Eastern and Western cultures.

PolyU offers more than 180 academic programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels under our two schools and six faculties:
